Questions?

Here are some of the most common questions I get about working together.

If you don’t see your question listed or are ready to schedule a free consult, contact me.

  • My office is located at 78 Burncoat Street in Worcester, MA, just above the Burncoat Center for Arts & Wellness.

  • If you are not local or due to time constraints, I offer virtual sessions as well.

  • Yes, I see clients in-person on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10-6pm. I see clients virtually on Monday and Wednesday afternoons.

  • My rate for individual sessions are $175 per hour. My rate for couples sessions are $225 per hour.

I accept Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance, as long as you meet criteria for medical necessity, which we will review together during our consultation. Some other insurances offer out of network rates, in which case I can provide you with a Superbill for reimbursement.

  • During your first session, I gather a brief history of your life and relationships, noting for any trauma or impactful events that are impacting you now. You can also share your concerns in more depth so that I can get a better feel for what you’d like to get from our time together, as we create your goals.

  • This depends on several factors, including what brings you to therapy and how long-standing the problems of issues have been. The longer a problem or pattern of behaviors has existed, the more time and intention it typically takes to shift it.

Each individual enters therapy in a different state of change and with a different readiness for growth. Typically speaking, the more receptive you are (aka willing to take in new information, and see your part in contributing to the problem) the more growth you will experience more quickly.

Some people only need a few sessions to get what they need, while others work with me for several months or over a year to get the results that they desire.

My style of support is designed to empower you with tools and resources so that you are not dependent on therapy, and instead, you are empowered with new tools and awareness and skills that aid your own growth, even when you’re not here. I make it a practice to regularly assess your progress, highlight your successes, and revaluate your needs for scheduling as we see fit.
